The boy wonder: Cristiano Ronaldo

It all started at Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo. He was 20 years old when he first moved to United in 2003. This club made Ronaldo into one of the greatest players of all time.

Ronaldo wore the number 7 in honor of his father, who died when he was just 7 years old.
Ronaldo was cocky and selfish at times, which angered the United fans.

Ronaldo's arguably best year at United came in 2008. Where he won his first trophy with the team, and also got his own signature shoe the Nike Mercurial Superfly.

Not only did Ronaldo succeed in his club, but also international level. Ronaldo is currently the captain and the top goal scorer for the Portugal national team with 68 goals. He won his first international trophy in 2016 after Portugal beating France in the Euro final. Watch his motivational speech after the final below.

In the year 2009, Ronaldo joined the Spanish giants Real Madrid.

A world record transfer fee of £80 million euros, Ronaldo at the time was the most expensive player in the history of soccer.

His slick movement on the ball and determination made the Madrid fans fall in love with the Portuguese.

Not only that, but his crazy hairstyles made him a fan favorite from the beginning.

Ronaldo's hard work and dedication has led him to win multiple individual trophies like the Worlds best forward award in 2011, and the Ballon D'Or (Best player in the world award) in 2008,2013,2014 and 2016.

A statue and wax figure were created to honor Cristiano Ronaldo's success at the international and club level.
