St. Peter was born around 4 AD in Bethaida. He died around 64 AD in the Cemintine Chapel.

His name was actually Simon, but Jesus changed it to Peter. St. Peter was one of the twelve disciples of Jesus,who became the first pope of Rome. St. Peter's successor was Pope Linus. He was also a fisherman. He was very close with Jesus and became one of the greatest leaders of the early Christian Church.
