Origin - The founder of Christianity is based either up Jesus Christ or the Apostle Paul. Jesus created the teachings of the Gospel, but Paul implemented them throughout out the world, spreading a religion that could of been viewed as Judaism. The religion was found in 33 A.D. in Judea, which is now Jerusalem, Israel and it continued to spread throughout the Roman Empire. Judaism and Islam are connected to Christianity throughout the Prophet Abraham.
Major Beliefs - The Holy Book of Christianity is said to be the Bible. The Bible is divided into the New and Old Testament in which it is read at church. A church is a Christian place of worship. Christianity has many leaders, including the Roman Catholic Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of the Eastern Orthodox Church
The three largest branches of Christianity are the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and Protestant.
Holidays, feasts and fasts are a significant part of Christian religious practice. The most important Christian holiday is Easter. Easter is a spring holiday that celebrates Christ's resurrection from the dead. Christmas, is another import amt holiday in Christianity, which commemorates the birth of Jesus on December 25. Surprisingly, Saints' days are also important to the Christianity faith.
