Canvas Tip of the Week – Integration with Office 365 and Google.

This month marks the release of the Office 365 and Google integration with Canvas. This means that Canvas it now able to access content straight form OneDrive and Google Drive. There is an icon for both in the Rich Content Editor, which once click on, it will asked for login details, Canvas will remember the login credentials. These are some fetchers that both ITL do, such as giving student assess to the relevant Drives to submit work, which then can be marked and annotated in Speedgrader.

Office 365

With the Office 365 integration, when added content using the Rich Content Editor there is a link created directly to OneDrive.

Google

With the Google integration works really well in canvas. When added content using the Rich Content Editor there are two options: the first is to link directly to Google Drive, then the second is to embed the document straight into canvas.
