BILLET

GRAPHIC DESIGN WAS NEVER MY DREAM CAREER FROM THE BEGINNING. MY CAREERS SWAYED FROM MEDICINE TO PHOTOGRAPHY TO DESIGN IN JUST A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THIS WAS MAINLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT I WANTED TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY AS A KID, BUT OBVIOUSLY I MATURED. SOMETHING ABOUT DESIGN REALLY FASCINATED ME AFTER I TRIED USING PHOTOSHOP TO MAKE A POSTER FOR A CHARITY ORGANIZATION THAT WAS PART OF MY SCHOOL CALLED THE LEO CLUB ( A SUB DIVISION OF LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL ). IT WASN'T AMAZING BUT IT INSPIRED PEOPLE. I WONDERED THE WIDE RANGE OF POSSIBILITIES DESIGN COULD BE USED TO INFLUENCE PEOPLE INTO A GOOD CAUSE. OVER TIME DESIGN BECAME A PASSION, SKETCHING, WHICH WAS ALREADY A HOBBY, BECAME THE NEW WAY TO THINK AND INNOVATE.

I WANTED TO LEARN MORE ABOUT DESIGN AND PURSUE IT AS A CAREER. IT BECAME A WHOLE NEW WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY. I AM OFFICIALLY IN LOVE WITH DESIGN. DESIGN IS ALL ABOUT INSPIRING PEOPLE, SHOWING THE MASSES A DEEP MESSAGE USING YOUR ART. PHOTOGRAPHY IS STILL A PART OF ME AS A HOBBY BUT NOW ITS ANOTHER WAY FOR ME TO CAPTURE WHAT I SEE AROUND ME TO USE FOR INSPIRATION FOR LATER PROJECTS. BILLET MY PORTFOLIO'S NAME IS ACTUALLY A FRENCH WORD WHICH MEANS TICKET. AS IN MY TICKET TO A NEW WORLD, NEW EXPERIENCE, NEW IDEAS AND MEETING A GET DIVERSITY OF PEOPLE.

THE SELF PORTRAIT WITH PENCIL, BUT HOW COULD I LEAVE ALL THE COLOR OUT OF LIFE AS I BELIEVE AN ARTIST'S SELF PORTRAIT IS A REFLECTION OF HIM.
HOW SUCH A VAGUE AD COULD BE MADE SO MUCH BETTER.
Added color to the amazing picture of PARAM PUJYA YOGIJI MAHARAJ- A hindu great spiritual leader of the BAPS Sanstha.
A PENCIL PORTRAIT of the human that is ABSOLUTELY in love with MANDALA ART- A small Gift on A4 paper.
NAVRATRI- An Indian festival where Gujarati people celebrate by wearing bright clothes and doing GARBA AND RAAS ( Gujarati forms of dance). Inspired from that a different type of painting where individual painted pieces of paper were put together on a styrofoam sheet of 5 feet by 5 feet .
HAKUNA MATATA! Back in Africa this is a very important phase. Together with Timon, Pumba and Rafiki the world got to know this. There are similar art works to this, but NOT with the level of detail on a A4 paper.
Dedication of a monk is phenomenal. Living for the betterment of the World. REAL INSPIRATION on how we as designers should use our power to change the world.
The beauty of a human face.
A rather special sketch for me. The FIRST ever gift to my nephew from the first ever picture taken of him

A MILLION STORIES IN HIS EYES
WANDERLUST PHOTOGRAPHY- CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI INTL AIRPORT
NEPHEW LOVE
THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER ATTEMPT TO USE PHOTOSHOP TO DESIGN. IT WAS MEANT TO PRINT ON A3 BUT MADE MISTAKES LIKE MADE IT IN RGB RATHER THAN CMYK COLOR PROFILES. THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED
The stage that worked us for 80+ hours working about 10 hours a day straight designing on paper, then tracing and coloring on photoshop. A daunting task when its your first time making something like this for the first time. In the end it was all worth it as the MAHAPURUSH (Divine soul ) we made this for was extremely happy.
