Patrick Henry was an american attorney, planter, and politician. He was born May 29, 1736 in Hanover County, Virginia. Best known for his " Give me liberty or give me death speech" along with Samuel Adams and Thomas Paine. He helped gain adoption of the Bill of Rights and opposed the stamp act in 1765. Settled in Virginia started his career as a planter and married Sarah Shelton and had three children. Owned 78 slaves for his 10,000 acre piece of land known as Leatherwood. Patrick also helped kickstart the american revolution. Patrick died in June 6, 1799 of stomach cancer.
