Toni Morrison was a black female , and poor at the time when there was only a few opportunities in the united states.Toni was born in Lorain Ohio, in 1931. Toni Morrison was born on the time of Great Depression.Toni got her nickname in college. She got her last name when she got married.

She graduated from Loraine high school in 1949. she had to sit in the back of the city school bus.Her happiest times were with the Howard unity players the schools acting group.That she was all some but she was poor but it didn't stop her what she wanted to do. She stopped thinking about it

Morrison also loved to dance she wanted to be a dancer when she grew up but she had something else on her mind. she teaches kids at Howard college. It was just for black people. It was founded 1867 by the united states congress. IN 1993 Toni Morrison was the first African American to win the novel prize. Two weeks later Morrison house in Grand view on Hudson New York caught on fire it was pretty sad after the fire 10 weeks later Morrison mother died it was sad.
