March added vibrant colors to our lives, STR showed as Number 1 in Compset and achieved highest ever Spa Revenue since hotel has opened. “Everybody needs love”, with that spirit we celebrated Holi, Women’s Day along with NGO Alankrita and collaborated with IGRES Jaipur for “Earth Hour”. We joined hand in hand further with IGRES - Instagram Group in Jaipur and shared “Smiles” with Jaipurites wherein cavalcade of sedans distributed cookies in return of smile.
March is onset of summers in our part of world, hence we are looking inwards in our professional ecosystem…..how we can improve?, we implemented 400+ SOP, NATPC in each department and challenged ourselves to greater learning from HOD to associate level. Marriott ROBE and Soups & Nuts academy was attended by our Front Office and F&B Leaders, and they are all excited to bring more positive changes. In endeavor to keep competitive spirits high we engaged associates in Dart Competition, and our Team Agni delivered culturally rich “Shekhawati Food” to all associates, must say I discovered cuisine which was not explored by me.

An association worth it, we were proud to be associated with them for their sixth car rally which happened on the occasion of Women's Day. CLEAN JAIPUR, GREEN JAIPUR campaign was run by them in order to spread awareness about the issues of urban living & importance of clean & green environment. It was inaugurated by the Mayor of Jaipur.
WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION
Women are the architect of society, Whatever glory belongs to the race for a development unprecedented in history for the given length of time, a full share belongs to the womanhood of the race. It was a day dedicated to all the women at FPBS Jaipur. Special room amenities were placed in the rooms and a small token of appreciation was given to the HR Head - Ms. Mumtaz Khan by all the women employees.
Puppet show in our Family lounge has now become one the the USPs of the hotel. This place is now enhanced with a fresh new look!

A Decorated Naval Sailor with 15 Years in Armed Force, certified in Nuclear Biological Chemical Defense and Damage control & Fire Fighting never left his mission. Bhawani with background of Mechanical Engineering Joined as Chief Engineer at Four Points by Sheraton Jaipur on November 2015, he created milestones with 15 months 15 engineering projects; that too delivered within timelines. In 15 months he saved estimated USD60, 000 in Repair & Maintenance budgets. His in-house innovation is commendable be it Solar Panels, STP Ventilation, Swimming Pool Water Saving, Energy Savings you name it Bhawani has a solution to it.
In His efforts for Renewables Source of Energy he initiated – “Solar Panel Project” & saved fossil fuel energy valuing USD15, 882, thus also impacting lower carbon emissions under environment protection. Electricity consumption has dropped by USD39, 616 and Diesel Consumption has dropped by 16, 961 YOY
His leadership echo in sentiments of his colleagues, zero attrition since he joined the department, His name in hotel is “Wish Master” you wish he will deliver before the deadline with all in-house solutions. Being from armed forces and disciplined professional, he has larger than life attitude which reflects in his contribution of his man-hours to Community Service. During current severe winter he repaired and donated the Heaters in local orphanage for HIV Positive children “Aasha Ki Kiran”. He is actively involved in Charity Organization called “Goonj” which helps needy and poor people, under his leadership hotel has donated 03 boxes of woolen clothes to help community.
He got married in 2003 and is blessed with a girl - Nitika Rathore & a baby boy - Yuvraj Singh Rathore.

Thousands of people have the desire to make a change but think they alone cannot battle this huge problem. Earth Hour has become so important because this is the chance for those people, and millions of others to take a stand and actually make a difference. This time, we did it with the BRAND AMBASSADOR of Earth Hour Jaipur, i.e. Mr. Amit Ginani. A small "Earth Hour" awareness session was also conducted by him for us. As an active and concerned socialite. He is also a founder of Igers Jaipur (Instagramers Jaipur) network that has over 23000 followers, he is a popular name amongst the community.

The aroma of sugar and the richness of ghee surely melted the heart of all the associates and employees. Associates indulged in some amazing and authentic delights at Caféteria's Shekhawati Food Festival conducted by F&B production and Finance. From Dal Baati Choorma to Bajra Khichdi to Lehsun ki chatni everything in this intricate Food Festival was a visual treat with bags of flavors.

CHAND BAORI, also known as Step Well, is situated in Abhaneri which is a small village of the Dausa district in northern Rajasthan; it is located 95km from Jaipur, towards the Jaipur-Agra highway. The present name of the village, 'Abhaneri', is believed to be a mispronunciation of 'AbhaNagri' or the 'city of brightness'. This ancient village in Rajasthan is renowned for its post-Gupta or early medieval monuments, Chand Baori and Harshat Mata temple. Though the village is in ruins now, tourists throng the village to see Chand Baori which is a huge step well, a unique idea conceived by the natives to work as a water reservoir. Another attraction is the Harshat Mata temple, an architectural jewel on the tourism map of Rajasthan. While Harshat Mata temple symbolises the 10th century architecture, Chand Baori, which is fortified on all sides, is one of the largest step wells in India. Abhaneri is also famous for local dances namely Ghoomar, Kalbelia and Bhawai. Read further to know more about Abhaneri and its attractions.
The Highlights Of The Place
What makes Abhaneri a place to visit is the presence of Harshat Mata temple and Chand Baori. Harshat Mata temple, which dates back to 10th century, is protected by the archeological department of the Government of India. Though the temple is in ruins, its beautiful craftsmanship is still visible. Harshat Mata is regarded as the goddess of happiness who spreads joy to the entire village.
The Chand Baori is a step well which is regarded as a unique invention of the people of Abhaneri; it was created for rainwater harvesting. Located in the front of the Harshat Mata temple, this colossal step well has a depth of 20 meters, with 13 levels. Chand Baori is regarded as one of deepest and largest step wells in India. Despite being so huge, the well still has delicate and intricate carvings which are a visual treat. Various structures are also built around the step well.
