James Joyce composed many famous works which include Dubliners, A portrait of the Artist as a Young man, Exiles and Poetry, and Finnegans Wake. James Joyce despite these great works is mostly know for his writing of Ulysses which is an Epic poems that is read around America today.

One main themes of James Joyce that he used in his writing is the use of stream of consciousness. In Dubliners Joyce uses themes such as the desire for escape and the intersection of life and death.
