Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando is where he went to school.

It was a confluence of influences - from Paul Cézanne and Henri Rousseau, to archaic and tribal art - that encouraged Picasso to lend his figures more structure and ultimately set him on the path towards Cubism, in which he deconstructed the conventions of perspective that had dominated painting since the Renaissance.

Picasso had an eclectic attitude to style, and although, at any one time, his work was usually characterized by a single dominant approach,

He often moved interchangeably between different styles - sometimes even in the same artwork

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

Art is a lie that makes us realize truth.

Cubism is an early-20th-century avant-garde art movement that revolutionized European painting and sculpture, and inspired related movements in music, literature and architecture

The old guitarist is my favorite piece of work

The old guitarist

It is in an art institution in Chicago
This artist was trying to speak to his viewers. He was trying show an old man playing a guitar showing how well he was playing the guitar and to show value color and space.

This artwork makes me feel calm. This man is calm and plays the guitar to himself and is relaxed because he has his legs crossed.

My favorite part of the artwork is the guitar. I think it makes the picture complete.
