I remember always traveling, my grandparents had an RV so I would travel around the U.S. with them to go to football games or see family. We would also go to disney world a lot in the RV with my whole family. My parents had a lot of friends when I was born so when I was born, I was the only child in their group so I was the test run for all of them that had kids eventually. My parents would take me to hangout with their friends and I would entertain them with dressing up or telling them stories. My childhood was very fun and exciting because I'm the oldest in my family as well so I was taken on adventures with my family and friends and there was never a dull moment.
My favorite memories were traveling in the RV with grandparents. We would go to UVI football games and tailgate and go up to the club. We would also go to disney which was a lot of fun to dress up as the princesses and what not.
My favorite book was a book about minnie mouse and daisy duck and them eating cake. It was a short book about friendship and it was just fun to read because I loved minnie and baking. I loved to watch max and ruby, that was the only kids show that I remember loving. My favorite movies were the disney princess movies because, I always went to disney and I would dress up as them. When I was younger I did a lot of sports like, ballet, karate, but I ended up doing cheer leading for 8 years.
Childhood is crucial because they need the social and mental development in order to grow. Childhood is what sets you up for the rest of your life, it's what makes you the person that you are today. Growing up and having good parents that care for you will make you a well rounded person in your later years.
Doctors and what not have been studying children to understand how their mind works and what works for them. We want to know as much as we can about the human mind and how it works. Starting off with the child's mind is the best way to understand how the brain develops from a child to an adult.
I want to study children in this class to understand how they work and how their brain works. I took parenting so I know my side of raising a child but l'm interested to know the child's side of raising them.
