We have learned a lot of things about Hermes and his family.He invented many things including many types of racing,the sport of boxing,alphabet and gymnastics.Hermes was the god of science and invention, but he is known best for the messenger of the gods.He is often pictured with his helmet and sandals.He is also a god to many things including commerce,thieves,travelers,sports,athletes,and boarder crossings,and worked as a guide to the Underworld.
