Our first speaker of the day was Joana Lenkova
Joana joined The Walt Disney Company in 2015 and currently holds the position of Country Strategy Manager for UK, Ireland and International Markets for Disneyland Paris. Prior to joining the Disney team, Joana held several key marketing roles, gaining over 13 years of international experience in marketing management, product and business innovation and strategy for blue-chip companies, such as Anheuser-Busch InBev and Societe Generale. Joana's area of expertise is business strategy and planning.
Joana spoke about what is the key to success within a company and the steps she takes to achieve this including:

She then went on to discuss how balance is key between creativity and business acumen to have a profitable business.
One of the UK’s most successful business leaders. She launched the British Airways Executive Club, and then the first beds on a plane, which revolutionized business travel and propelled BA to the top of the travel service industry. Since then, she has implemented similar projects at Britannia Building Society, Barclays, Co-operative and Brymon Airways.
Louise discussed the break-through customer service strategies she employed throughout her career which stress the centricity of customers and how to connect with them in the digital age.

Pret a Manger
Finally it was Mark Palmer’s turn on stage. Pret A Manger MD, and formerly Global Brand Director of Green & Black's organic chocolate, Mark Palmer is one of the UK's most popular and influential business speakers. Mark enlightened our audience on his success stories and his path to his respected reputation.
Mark took us through a step by step process of taking Green & Blacks away from the image of organic chocolate to premium quality.
He also went on to discuss his process of communication and brand identity at Pret a Manger through their unique branding.
All three speakers took to the stage to take questions from the students. From “How long did it take to get to the position you're in today?” to “How do you deal with major issues/complaints”. The speakers were happy to answer all the questions and gave some great career advice along the way.
