Mr. Trash Wheel

Summary: Mr. Trash Wheel is a wheel that collects trash using the current of the Jones Falls river and solar power. The wheel keeps trash out of the Baltimore Harbor. It puts the trash into a dumpster barge.

Vocabulary: A word needed to understand the article is solar power. The noun means power obtained by the energy of the sun's rays. Another word needed to understand the article is current. The adjective is a body of water moving in a definite direction, especially through a surrounding body of water in where there is less movement.

This picture shows what Mr. Trash Wheel is preventing.

My Opinion: I think this is a great idea to keep trash out of our water sources. Though it is quite expensive, solar power is a renewable resource, which is good for the environment. Mr. Trash Wheel is an invention that should be used in many other bodies of water.
