Summary of Athena's Myth: Athena was born from Zeus forehead after he experienced varies headaches there for she does not have a mother, she was born already fully grown and with full body armor. She is known for her battle skills and for her many inventions. Athena was also Zeus favorite child and was allowed to use his weapons. She became goddess of Athens after winning a contest against Poseidon.

Athena's Character Traits:

Brave: “According to Homer’s account in the Iliad, Athena was a fierce and ruthless warrior. In the Odyssey, she was angry and unforgiving. In the course of the Trojan War, she struck Ajax with madness.” This shows Athena is brave because she went into war and was the fiercest and most ruthless warrior she was unforgiving and wasn’t scared to stick Ajax with madness all of this thinks take bravery to accomplish.

Glamorous: “In later poetry Athena embodied wisdom and rational thought… According to some sources, Athena was praised for her compassion and generosity”.

Leader: “Known for protecting civilized life, she was the Goddess of the City.”

Talented: “Athena was a patron of the arts and crafts, especially when it came to spinning and weaving.”

Theme: Athena is a Goddess of war and wisdom she was ruthless when it came to battle and generous and humble when it came to her people.

Discussion Statement: Athena is the best Warrior of all time.
