Food Support Resources ~

Please click on the link below to access numerous food support resources in our local area.

Bully prevention lessons will begin over the next two weeks in each classroom. Three presentations will be given in each classroom and will include the importance of treating others with respect, what bullying is, and what to do about it if it is seen or heard.

Each month at Weston Elementary, we highlight a different character trait. Students learn about the trait through morning announcements, activities, and role modeling throughout the building. As we talk about teamwork during August, we will also highlight associated characteristics involved, such as ways to be a good communicator, collaboration with others, a willingness to share new ideas, being open to feedback, and demonstrating initiative. Your child will internalize these characteristics when they are also reinforced at home. You might share a compliment such as “I liked how you looked at me while we were talking” OR “You really showed teamwork when we were working together to fix your bike”.
