Pride in our village
One of our environmental goals is tackling the problem of litter and fly tipping in our village.
Working in partnership
Keeping our village tidy is one of our main aims. We carry out organised litter picking as well as targeted mini blitz sessions and individual general litter picking.
As well as litter picking we look for and report Fly Tipping in and around our location. Should you discover Fly Tipping in your area you can report it to Durham County Council using the Do It Online service.
We carry out litter picking in partnership with residents and other like-minded organisations. This includes: Karbon Homes; Learning For Life; Sustrans North East; Durham County Council.
