Things aren't perfect

As Sophia, Shelby, and other athletes in this class have pointed out, there are differences in advertising at Leigh High School.

In the Leigh newspaper, The Eleight, the sports section shows off many of the boys' accomplishments, while only glossing over the girls'.

The girls' basketballs (left) and boys' basketballs (right) have some obvious differences. The boys' are clean and have a longhorn logo, while the girls' are dirty and have no logo (which is only due to the new coach, according to Coach Z).

It might not be a balanced scale, but things are getting better.
