Abandoned Farmhouse poem Micah koen

He's a very musical man says the many instruments strewn across the room ,and the amps dotting the walls ,or the big stereo centering the room blaring music written with heart and soul.

He is an outdoorsman says the guns on the wall scarred with scratches of use, and the many knives in every crevasse of the room waiting to be used whenever he needs one, or the fishing rods in the corner of the room ,shiny and taken care of by their owner.

He has a God following family says the many bibles stacked and ready for a Sunday morning, or the mellow Christian music playing in the background of the living room.

He has a love for agriculture says the FFA jacket washed and cleaned with pride waiting for action for a cold winter day, or the many pairs of worn out boots lining the foot of the bed, sagging with many years of hard work and the lassos hanging on the door, frayed and retired with age.

He is enjoying his teenage life says the tall young man sitting, smiling and using the tools that built who he is and show that if you work hard enough you can truly live the life you want.
