The European frog bit migrates by boats, and wild life because it cannot travel by itself to far away places. making sure to go slow when you are near an infested place when your on a boat is very smart. the wake can dislodge the plants and allow them to move to new places.

The European frogbit invades lakes, rivers, ponds and ditches. the European frogbit has been discovered in: the ride, Ottawa river systems, st. lawrance river, Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, the Martha lakes, and other lakes in south centerat and south western Ontario. it has also been inroduced to some American states including: New York, Vermont, Michigan, and Washington

They choke other species of plants , they reduce water that can affect aquatic life. they also cover a lot of the plants and kill them because they did not get the sunlight they needed to live.

Many people take time to pull out the frog bit annually just with a group of friends. there are many different programs that have jobs you can do to help get rid of them.

They grow and reproduce super fast. they cling on to different native plants choking and elimenating them. they act like a predator.
