D3 2019 EPK 5th Year Celebration of Art, Design & Technology

About D3

D3 (Digital Design Den) brings together top content creators, scholars and independent thinkers to inspire and increase opportunities for underrepresented youth and people of color interested in advertising, technology and digital production careers.

D3's “digital literacy” initiative intends to expand the diversity within the design and technology pipeline by creating exposure to entry-level art, design and tech skills.

This year marks Miami Dade College’s 5th anniversary of D3, the event for creatives, focused on the exploration of all aspects of traditional art, digital design and technology.

Where's D3 this year?

The School of Entertainment & Design Technology will host its 5th annual event at Miami Dade College - North Campus, Tuesday April 2nd, through Thursday April 4th, 2019.

Keynote Terry White (Adobe) - D3 Conference 2018

MDC is a state-supported college with seven campuses, three centers and numerous out-reach centers, and is one of the most highly regarded college in the nation. The total number of students enrolled to MDC in past two years was over 160,000. MDC has the largest undergraduate enrollment of any college or university in the country, serving students from at least 150 countries that speak approximately 76 different languages. In addition, MDC enrolls more Hispanic undergraduate students than any other college or university and is the third largest to enrolled Black non-Hispanic undergraduate students.

April 2nd

Kicks-off with InkWars! A Live Student Art Competition.

Then, "Bilby", A DreamWorks Animated Short Film Screening and a talk with Director, JP Sans.

The screening will be followed by an opening reception filled with Student Art, Fashion Design, Technology, Live Entertainment and Food.

April 3rd

A Day of Learning & Inspiration. "Let's Change The World Together" - Keynote Presentation by Albert Manero of Limbitless Solutions.

Limbitless Solutions creates 3D printed prosthetic limbs for kids and minimal cost.

The rest of the day will be filled with Master Class breakout sessions, Portfolio Reviews, 1-on-1 Career Mentorship & a College / Career Fair.

How You Can Help.

100% of all donation funds go toward the production and support of this free community event.

By sponsoring or exhibiting during D3 at Miami Dade College, your organization will gain exposure to the largest institution of higher education in the United States.

While our going rate is $500 per exhibitor, We are offering Colleges and Universities a discounted donation rate of $250 per table/booth set-up.

Exhibitors will be provided a space with one (1) table and two (2) chairs, Wi-Fi, Logo on website with the option to include company advertisement into the D3 Swag-bag.
