The Growlers-Going gets tough

The song "Going gets tough" by The Growlers tells a story on how the writers life is a big mess. He opens the intro, "And up at the crack of dawn, all my money worries, wherever I go come along." This group of words explains that he gets up early, but he's constantly worrying about money. "No home since the fire, Me and the ash can't settle down, Unsure of where I'm bound, So I sink another round." The writers home had disappeared, and since the fire he cannot settle, so he must take a shot to calm.

Dull boy - The Growlers

In the song "Dull Boy - The Growlers," it's a song about leaving a city and leaving every memory behind. "Finally the bottle's dry, With a message inside, That says im gone." This excerpt explains that the singer is drinking, and when he finishes, there's something telling him he's gone. "I'm a dull boy with a dead dream, searching for a pulse in any given scene." Simply explaining, now that he's gone, he's a dull person that just trying to find excitement in life. "
