The Art of Barry Levy Watercolors

My art is varied and emotional. I want to engage the viewer with a story so they will spend time with my subject. "Village with a History ".

Babcock State Park, W.Va.

My art has progressed in detail and style so I feel more accomplished as a watercolorist. I am now more able to compete with my peers in juried shows.

The Old Mill

The Old Mill is another view of the above.

Award winning art titled "On the Charles Bridge". Location is Prague, Czchecoslavakia.

I love painting horses so I emphasized their nobility with this action scene titled "Here they come".

Another award winning scene titled "View from 2601". This is from a photo I took many years ago while visiting a family friend in Philadelphia.

This painting is a first prize winner titled "Forest Falls". It has been accepted into 2 juried exhibitions. and was a big challenge to paint this scene with all the detail and color.

I also enjoy painting winter scenes like this one titled "Western Winter". This is one of my favorites. So I combined two of my favorite subjects winter and horses.

I painted this scene in honor of my deceased puppy Sophie. I was privileged to know her for fifteen and a half years and miss her very much. It's titled " A Walk in the Park".

I have done many scenes of New Jersey being a resident for more than sixty years. This one is titled "Island Beach".

I hope you have enjoyed my art and if you're interested in purchasing prints go to my Etsy store at etsy.com/shop/BarryMLevy and fineartamerica.com/barrylevy.
