Dreaming as a child Many kids grow up wanting to be a Competitive Gamer

"People learn early in their lives, what is their reason for being." (Coelho, 26).

"When you want something all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it." (Coelho, 43)

Growing up, kids looked towards gaming as a safe haven. They'd play games as well as sometimes watch the competitive scene. They begin to dream about being as good as professionals and being able to hold the trophy. Only a few pursue their dream of being a professional gaming but many don't because, wanting to be a professional gamer is looked down upon.

"Everyone has his or her own way of learning things," he said to himself. "His way isn't the same as mine, nor mine as his. But we're both in search of our destinies, and I respect him for that."(Coelho, 86)

In professional gaming there is always a different way to see how a game is played out. Players don't always play the same as others, they might be on different skill levels, or even have different play styles compared to others.

“"That's what alchemists do. They show that, when we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too."(Coelho, 155)

Gamers work hard daily to just to even have a chance of being a professional gamer, they risk everything, even sometimes drop out of school just seek out their dream to become a professional.

"When someone sees the same people every day, as had happened with him at the seminary, they wind up becoming a part of that person's life. And then they want the person to change. If someone isn't what others want them to be, the others become angry." (Coelho, 18)

Many games in the professional scene are dependent on multiple players to play on a team together. These players are trained to work as together. Instead of looking at each other just as another gamer, they see each other as family. Just like family, they help each other grow, but sometimes they may enrage each other. In the end, they're still a team.

The championship cup, the one thing professional gamers strive to achieve and obtain.
