Is the monotheistic religion of the Jews. Judaism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions and was founded over 3500 years ago in the middle east.

FOUNDER

Judaism does not have a specific founder, but rather it has major prophets that are considered the fathers of Judaism. Some of them are Moses, Abraham, and Noah.

SUBDIVISIONS

The subdivisions in the Judaism religion are the following: Conservative Judaism, Liberal Judaism, Orthodox Judaism, Reform Judaism, Humanistic Judaism, Modern Orthodoxy, Re-constructionist Judaism

The Mount Sinai is a special Mountain, where God gave Moses the ten commandments, which is the Jewish major beliefs.
the synagogue is the Jewish place of worship. But is also used as a place to study. The Orthodox Jews often use the yedish word Shul ( produced shool) to refer to their synagogue.
This is the only remaining relic of the second temple wich was a sacred temple for the Jewish religion in ancient times. The building was destroyed in 70 A. D. by the Romans.

Judaism has about 13 million followers throughout the world, mostly in the USA an Israel. The most predominant countries are the USA, Israel, and France.

NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS AND FAMOUS PEOPLE.

There is about 13 million of followers. The vast majority live in Israel and USA. Somme famous people that are from this religion are: Lauren Bacal, american singer and actress. Sergy Brin, Raham Emanuel, Anne Frank, Ralph Lauren, Jerry Lewis.

HOLIDAYS AND TRADITIONS.

The 4 major Holidays are the following: Easter, which is a festive week where they celebrate their liberation from Egypt. Yom Kippur, this is a holiday where they fast for the forgiveness of sins. Hanukkah, also known as the festival of lights, or when they recuperated their holy temple and rededicated to God. Rosh Hashanna, this is the Jewish new year.
