Places you might want to go along the coast of South Carolina


Charleston has a lot to do with the history of South Carolina. Charleston is a very historic place. A lot of wars have had big moments in Charleston.

While in Charleston you can do multiple things. Charleston is mainly known for its historic aspect. One of the most popular historic things that is in Charleston is Fort Sumter.
If you're not into things like that but you like scary things then the Ghost Tours are the things for you. The 2 most popular ones are the "Murder Tour" and "Macabre"
FOOD yes food. There are food tours. The number 1 tour is called the Upper King Street Culinary Tour. The tour is about 2 and a half hours. with a small price of $60. There are also some other ones but the Upper King Street Culinary Tour is the most popular.

Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach was incorporated in 1938, and Myrtle Beach Air Force Base was established during the 1940s, growth along the strand languished during the Depression and World War II.

Wild Waves is a water park in Myrtle Beach. Lots of kids love water parks. If you have Kids they would love to go there. Tickets can range from $20 to $17.
On the Broadway in Myrtle Beach you can do lots of things. There are a lot of cool and fun places. There is a house that is upside down called Wonder Works. Wonder Works is a place that kids love.
The Hollywood Wax Museum is like the Madame Tussauds of Myrtle Beach. They have lots of different wax figures. The building is really easy to spot because of the giant Gorilla that is on the right of this picture. The gorilla is supposed to be King Kong.

Hilton Head

The island is named after Captain William Hilton, who in 1663 identified a headland near the entrance to Port Royal Sound, which he named "Hilton's Head" after himself.

Pirates Island is a mini golf place. Who dosent like mini golf. $12.50 Adult $10.50 Children 4-12 is the prices for admission.
If you want to go out with some friends and you have children you can take them to the Kids Drop In Adventure place and you can go and have some you time. I understand that you need some time to your self well now you can. Most recommended for parents with young children.
The Coastal Discovery Museum is one of the most memorable destinations on Hilton Head Island. Explore natural history and cultural heritage on the 68 acre Honey Horn property. The Museum’s trails, gardens, live oaks, butterfly enclosure and Marsh Tacky horses are just a few of the fun experiences you will encounter during your visit. Mon. - Sat. 9-4:30 and Sun. 11-3.

Huntington Beach

Atalaya Castle, also known as Atalaya, was the winter home of industrialist and philanthropist Archer M. Huntington and his wife, the sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington, located in Huntington Beach State Park near the Atlantic coast in Murrells Inlet, Georgetown County, South Carolina.

. Walk "the square", a two-mile loop made by walking from the south beach access across to the causeway to Terrapin Drive, then down the historic straight road and back to south beach. View wildlife along the way.
Take a self-guided audio tour or docent-led tour of Atalaya, a National Historic Landmark. The picturesque, Moorish-style home was the winter retreat of renowned 20th-century sculptor, Anna Hyatt Huntington and her husband, philanthropist and Spanish scholar, Archer Huntington.
Take in a Coastal Exploration program with a naturalist to experience more of our abundant wildlife or learn a new hobby such as kayaking, beach combing or birding. You could also go bird watching because who dosent like birds.
