1. The Project

Our project in 3 simple points :

  • Helping shelter animals to find a loving home across Canada; by using Mégane's dog trainer skills to teach the animals the basics that a family would be looking for, and by using Florian's filmmaker's skills to promote the shelters and their animals online.
  • Raising money for charity; by filming influencer-like videos of our adventures for our followers
  • Filming the whole trip in order to make a feature film of our life and adventure on the road

Economically

On one hand: People will be able to donate money to the charities. 100% of the donations will be divided by three and respectively go to each of the chosen charities.

On the other hand: We will be receiving support (money, product, services, etc.) from sponsors to help us throughout the journey. In return, we will offer deals to our sponsors, whether it is product testing, on the field product pictures, visibility, services, or any other arrangement idea that can be thrown on the table.

Note: This trip will happen whether we find sponsors or not, but obviously the most help we receive the more dogs we will be able to help and the more money we will raise.

2. The Team

Who we are

We are a French team of three nature and wildlife lovers

  • Mégane: dog trainer since 2017 and outdoor addict.
  • Florian: Filmmaker, movie addict and sport lover.
  • Haïko: seven years old Samoyed, food, food and food lover.

Currently

We are both working near Montréal, QC, Canada, saving money for the trip, as we gather a community and gain followers on social media to support our project.

3. Our Charities

The 3 Charities we are thrilled to help which officially gave us their support :

Soi Dog

Soi Dog’s amazing mission is to improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities, to create a society without homeless animals, and to ultimately end animal cruelty. One of the thing they do is fighting the Asian dog meat trade and thanks to overwhelming support from people like you, the trade has been almost completely wiped out in Thailand. We continue to campaign for an end to the trade in South Korea, Vietnam, and other south-east Asian countries where it is prevalent.

WaterAid

They are resolutely focused on helping people break free from poverty and change their lives for good through the three essentials of clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. And with your support we’ll reach everyone, everywhere within a generation.

international Animal Rescue

Their vision is a world where humans and animals coexist in sustainable ecosystems. Their mission is to build awareness and implement effective systems such that habitats and animals are protected. At I.A.R. they not only save animals from suffering, they also rehabilitate and release them back into the wild and work to protect their precious natural habitats. However, they also provide a permanent home for those that can no longer fend for themselves.

5. Your Interest

There are many ways through which you could gain from our journey. The two obvious one being:

  • 1) You will be able to put forward the good you're doing by helping charities trying to make the world a better place, showcasing our logo when need be.
  • 2) Gaining visibility! It is worth noting that at this point, knowing that an Instagram follower generates about $0,01 to the account they follow per post, what we have might not seem like much but it is constantly growing and we know we will be able to count on our three charities, and perhaps their supporters to gain subscribers. Together, the three charities have around 500k followers, and Ricky Gervais (who spoke many times on behalf of Soi Dog) has more than 2 millions followers.

However, we are also open to any less common suggestions you could have that would benefit you or your brand, such as:

  • 3) Testing your product(s) out on the field and reviewing them in our videos
  • 4) Taking commercial videos and/or pictures of your product(s) in remote Canadian places
  • 5) Meeting up with you and/or your employees. It could for a seminar or to give motivational/be-wild type of speech
  • 6) Showing up to events you may organize to showcase your brand.
