Delaware's Largest Youth movement Against Nicotine and tobacco!

Welcome Back!

To all of our KBG Members, Captains and Advisors, welcome back! We have missed you and cannot wait to continue the fight against tobacco and nicotine. Delaware youth look to the KBG for all things tobacco and nicotine, and we are ready to dispel the myths, voice our opinions, emit the facts and keep Delaware youth healthy!

in the spotlight...

Force Captain Jared DeStafney (6th Grade, Cab Calloway School of the Arts) approach a local community theatre in which he is very active with to ask them to alter their smoking policy. The issue was, parents, volunteers and other adults were smoking in the alcove (2nd entrance to the theatre - mainly for performers, crew and volunteers). Having asthma himself and thinking about all the other folks who had to travel through that entrance way, he approached the President of the organization. Jared's proposal was simple - please do not allow smoking in the alcove. BAM! The president agreed and a sign is on its way. WAY TO GO JARED, a first-time Force Captain!

For all participants who register by October 1, 2017: FREE transportation, FREE KBG LUNG FORCE swag and FREE lunch will be provided! Ohhhh yeah! Talk with your Force Captain or Advisor for more information and how to get involved.

See you at the lung force walk!
September Recruitment Campaign

It's that time of year again where we are recruiting new members to the KBG. Whether they have perviously been a part of the KBG or coming to the KBG for the first time, we want our Delaware youth to be involved. Tobacco companies specifically target youth because they are more likely to use tobacco products. Using a tobacco product (even e-cigarattes or dip) one time can leave you HOOKED! KBG is here to inform, educate and prevent our peers from using tobacco and nicotine products. Forces will be provided with the Recruitment Campaign Kit. Incentives will be given out to everyone who visits the KBG recruitment event and leave us with their name and email. Pretty easy, right?

Force Captains/Advisors can request their Recruitment Campaign Kit by clicking below.

The KBG Wants you to be involved!

Did You Know!?

Tobacco companies target our U.S. Military personnel. Like for real. They take advantage of them being in stressful situations and use tobacco and nicotine products as a way to help them get through. WHAT!? This makes no sense. Whisky. Tango. Foxtrot., a new initiative by truth looks at exposing the tobacco companies and bring awareness to the issues involving tobacco, nicotine and our military. Tobacco products are harming our military personnel when they are fighting for our freedoms. Something seems off here...
