Mary Wollstonecraft believed and declared that both men and women should be educated. Mary Wollstonecraft produced A Vindication of the Rights of Woman. It was a significant milestone in the arguments around women's rights and has since become a feminist classic. Mary Wollstonecraft also went a step further and proposed that they be educated together which was even more radical than anything proposed before. The idea of co-educational schooling was simply regarded as nonsense by many educational thinkers of the time.
