Lewis and Clark.

Lewis served as Thomas Jefferson's secretary in 1801. Another cool fact about Lewis is that he was hired to see the lower region of the U.S. And probably my favorite fact about Lewis is that he chose Clark to be his co captain on the expedition!

The journey Lewis and Clark took was named the Corps of discovery expedition. A cool fact about them on this journey is that they crossed the Western portion of the U.S. And their job was to find out about more territories at the west of the U.S.

Meriwether Lewis led the Lewis and Clark expedition, yes Lewis and Clark didn't go by themselves! A cool fact about Lewis is that he served as a field scientist. I didn't know that at all until I researched about him!

Lewis and Clark selected a group of military men called the corps of discovery and civilians, led by Captain Meriwether.

Many animals were new to Lewis and Clark including the grizzly bear and the prairie dog! Incredible!
