Amber Tyler wedding and lifestyle photographer

Hello! Congrats on your engagement! Welcome to the planning phase of your big day! I know how overwhelming it can be to plan a wedding, but the one thing I know I can help you stress less about is the photography. I got your back!!

First of all, let me tell you a little bit about myself and my journey in photography. I am a lifestyle and wedding photographer based out of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I love exploring new places and meeting new people, with camera in hand of course! I’m addicted to coffee and Sushi. My favorite movie genres are comedy and dramas. Little Miss Sunshine and What's Eating Gilbert Grape are my "comfort" movies. I am a wife and mother to 3 crazy, amazing children that keep me on my toes. I love to travel. So don’t be afraid to have your wedding on a tropical island… because yes, I will travel for you. Please take me with you… :-)

I have been doing photography professionally now for over 5 years. My love for photography started when I was in high school, back in the days of film! I took some time to study business and management after high school, before deciding to start my own business in 2012. I quickly fell in love with photographing weddings. There is just something about spending one of the happiest days in someone's life with them that just makes this job so rewarding!

I like to keep it simple when it comes to pricing and the way I do my wedding coverage. I offer full event coverage, which starts during the getting ready process, and ends after the last event at the reception. This way the full story of your day is captured! The rate for this is $2700. This also includes all of the edited digital images from the day, as well as a second photographer. I do also travel for weddings, so if you are having a destination wedding or a wedding outside of my home area, please contact me for a custom quote!

All other items can be added on a la carte style. This way everything you receive in your wedding package, is exactly what you want! Here is a list of my most commonly added on items. Anything added onto the wedding contract will also receive a 20% discount.

I do include a mini engagement session in the base package. This is a mini session that includes one outfit and one location in the CDA/ Post Falls, ID area. If you would like multiple outfit changes or locations, OR if you live out of the area and would like me to travel to you- you will want to add on the full engagement session.

My approach to documenting your day is to capture as many real life, candid moments as possible. When you see your photos, I want them to instantly take you back to your wedding day to relive all of those emotions that are so unique to that day. I also want you to see all of the details and moments that maybe you missed because the day went by so fast. I have a lifestyle, documentary feel to my work. I do however, designate time for your portraits where I take care of all of the posing. I do what I call "natural posing" though. I want your photos to truly reflect you and not be stiff. No prom poses here! Your photos will have movement and evoke emotion.

The booking process is super simple. I do everything electronically. The contract and payments are all signed and done online. A non-refundable retainer of $500 is due upfront, and then the remaining balance will be due a week (7 days) before your scheduled wedding date. Easy right?! Like I said, I like to keep it simple!

I would be happy to answer any questions you may have! My clients become lifelong friends, so it's really important to me that we are a good fit. I do offer complimentary consultations that can either be done in person or via Skype/ Facetime. Although I really do prefer in person if you are local- that way we can grab a cup of coffee or tea! Please contact me for availability! I look forward to meeting you and documenting your love!
