I looked on three different websites – apple, harvey norman and JB-HI-FI. They all had the same choice of IMac valued at very similar prices, the difference was only a few dollars which didn’t impact my choice majorly. They all stocked the same products – Apple Mac products. I chose to go with an Apple Mac product as they had the best reviews. However, on all three websites they had pretty similar reviews about the Apple products. Once again this didn’t majorly impact my choice. The marketing at Apple and JB-HI-FI were the best as they had the most information about the product that would greatly help a customer. The last think I took into consideration helped me make my purchase. I considered convenience, it was a lot more convenient for me to go to JB-HI-FI which was at most a 10 minute car trip or 20 minute bus trip. However, the car trip to Chatswood was 20 minutes and the bus trip is about 55 minutes. I found it would be easier to go to JB-HI-FI to purchase my product as even though they had the same features and similar price ranges, it would be more convenient for me to purchase the IMac from JB-HI-FI.

I would buy my product in store at JB-HI-FI in Belrose. I would go in store as you can see what is in the box straight away and want have to worry about it not having everything that was mentioned. Another reason I would go to JB-HI-FI to purchase my good was because of convenience. It was a lot more convenient for me to go to JB-HI-FI which was at most a 10 minute car trip or 20 minute bus trip. However, the car trip to Chatswood to go to the Apple store was 20 minutes and the bus trip is about 55 minutes. I found it would be easier to go to JB-HI-FI to purchase my product. The last thing I took into consideration was that there is a lot of road going on leading into Chatswood and also when you get there which may impact by drive/bus ride there and also where I would park due to blockages. To JB-HI-FI Belrose there is hardly any road work which would make it easier to find parking and also to get around the shopping centre.

Two ways that you would be able to purchase my product with is a debit card or a credit card.

Cash Advantages - You are paying with your own money which means you don’t have to pay an interest at the end of the month. No debt. Easy to monitor how much you have.

Cash Disadvantages - It's quite a bulky way to pay, especially for more expensive items. You have to wait till you save up the money, which can take some time. It's also not very secure.

Credit Card Advantages - You can purchase a product straight away. It's a lot more secure than cash. All retailers accept it.

Credit Card Disadvantages - At the end of each month you have to pay off an interest. It's very convenient and has quick access which can easily cause overspending. Some stores have very high interest rates.
