With a buffet style dining hall, it is easy for people to take more food then they can eat.

With so much food being made in the kitchens and with so many leftovers, the chefs have no other choice but to throw most of it away.

With Sodexo providing the dining hall with so much food, the proportions are all off, increasing the chance of wasted food.

In order to prevent all the uneaten food from going to waste, the dining hall needs to recycle it.
