Project 80 Welcome to the launch of Project 80, a heritage project which will investigate the history of Bottisham Village College and explore school architecture.

WHY PROJECT 80?

In 2017 Bottisham Village College was 80 years old. Our school opened in 1937 and was the second of the village colleges founded by visionary educator Henry Morris.

In 2018 a new building will open on the school site.

A new future is about to begin for Bottisham Village College! So this seems to us an appropriate point at which to reflect on the past, this project will allow us to do just that!

There are 4 project strands -

At the end of the project, and to mark the opening of the new building on the school site, we will have a celebration which will include:

An exhibition of the architectural models and drawings

A screening of the film made documenting the project findings and activities

A performance of the piece developed in response to the project

A sharing of the project publication

We hope everyone will join us again for the Project Celebration.
