Junior Parade of Bands Carnival 2017 - Port of Spain, Trinidad

The Junior Parade of Bands, sponsored by Republic Bank, is a Carnival for kids. It's starts at Adam Smith Square and makes it's way to the Queen's Park Savannah where the judging takes place. It's very much like the adult Parade of Bands with sounds trucks, elaborate costumes and lots of enthusiastic participants.

The parade route is quite a hike for the littlest kids, especially those with more elaborate costumes, but they don't seem to mind one bit.
Some of the costumes are quite impressive. And, I bet, heavy.
Some had help.
Some had statements to make.
Some looked quite familiar.
Some jammed to the music.
But all of them had fun!
