What is Sinkhole?

Sinkhole is a cavity in the ground that cause by water erosion . Sinkhole can casue by naturally and by human's activity, like water main break or overwithdrawl of ground water.

How sinkholes form

Sinkholes can form in two different types of way. Cover-subsidence sink hole and Cover-collapse sinkhole.

Cover-subsidence sinkholes are form slowy over time.

These sinkholes are Cover-subsidence sinkhole.

And Cover-Collapse sinkhole just appear suddenly. Most of Cover-Collapse caused by human.

This is how Cover-collapse sinkholes are usually form.
