2017 Spring Arts Walk LE BAYBAY'S WINDOW DISPLAY

Le BayBay's art display was on display April 21 thru May 21, 2017, located in dwntwn Olympia, on the corner of 4th Ave & Franklin St.

Le BayBay was given the opportunity to create a large art window display at Olympia's Downtown Welcome Center, designed especially for Spring Arts Walk weekend (April 28-29, 2017.)

The art installation process took 4 out of 5 weekends in April to complete

From the inflatable planets, the star projector lamp & disco lights on the ceiling

To the multi-colored confetti and star printed cover for the floor

Including original hand-made art

& high quality digital pop art

Backtrack thru April 2017 with me & see how it all came together...

Peep the artistic process here: Above is a vid time-lapse of the installation of the giant 6' x 16' wall collage. Below is the detailed process, complete w pix and all my notebook notes...

Playing around with spacing, it only took 4 rows of 17, so it only took a total of 68 designs to cover the wall & 272 push pins (& 3 hammers- for the 3 of us hanging the art!)
Here's a peek at the display so far (& me taking a selfie w it.)
Above is the mock-up of the 6' x 16' display that will fill the space on the wall. Featuring: Celebs; Celebs (in their true reptilian form); Crop Circles; UFOs; and Illuminati secrets!
