Student-Athletes from the Division I Men's Basketball National Championship Teams visited local elementary schools in the Kansas City are to speak and interact with the students on the importance of character on and off the court. All 32 teams took part in the program which allowed students to ask questions to the players have some fun with the players.
At the assemblies, the players met the students and got to talk to them about what it means to play the game the right way.
The kids at St. Agnes got to meet the players of Benedictine (Kan.) who were popular in the Kansas City area. The players fielded questions on how they made their college choices and why they chose the school that they did, in addition to a variety of academic questions.
