NPQML, NPQSL and NPQH The window for applications is now open!

- FREE scholarship funded places and reduced pricing available for eligible schools and applicants*

As one of only 41 DfE accredited providers nationwide, the Bristol Primary Teaching School Alliance has worked hard to create and deliver a new and innovative suite of middle and senior leadership NPQ programmes over the last two years with exceptional feedback from more than 300 delegates accessing training. We have brought together a unique partnership of teaching school alliances in the region, each with a strong track record of delivering high quality professional development and we are very excited about our next round of NPQs which are due to begin in the autumn term of 2020.

Each level of the leadership ladder is designed and delivered by experienced local school leaders in order to develop the potential of talented and motivated individuals across the region. The reformed NPQs have given us freedoms to write bespoke programmes which reflect the needs of the City and the wider region and to support succession planning at all levels. NPQSL and NPQH delegates also benefit from the support of a professional coach throughout their time on the programme. Discounts are available for eligible schools and prices are extremely competitive.

For more detail about who each programme is suitable for and further links to funding and programme costs, venues and please see the information below

During each of the programmes, delegates will develop their 7 leadership behaviours:

  • commitment;
  • collaboration;
  • personal drive;
  • awareness;
  • respect;
  • resilience; and
  • integrity.

In addition, delegates complete and collect evidence against 6 content areas of study, which are graudated according to the study level:

  • Leading with impact;
  • Increasing capability;
  • Working in partnership;
  • Strategy and improvement;
  • Teaching and curriculum excellence and;
  • Managing resources and risk.

Where are the programmes delivered?

Delegates can access each programme at one of our regional teaching school hubs in North Somerset, Bristol or Wiltshire
