Happy Birthday 80 wonderful years

Dear Gala,

Happy 80th Birthday. When I first meet you some years ago, a lot of years ago, my thought then, as now, was you were the most hospitable person I had ever meet, always willing to give and expect nothing in return. LaJauna and I, with all of our boys, would come for visits and you and Bobby would welcome us to your home, provide us with a place to rest, and feed us a great breakfast before we went on our way. I especially remember our family visits to Boone in North Carolina and then Panama City, Florida where you provided good company as we made the long trips to these far away places. You laughed when I topped Waite's joke with a story about a Scottish girl who was destined to be disappointed in later life. My joke would not have been ready for Sunday school prime time, but it was funny. On our trip to Panama City, you provided your car and I am sure wondered what was going to happen when we ran into that rain storm with me driving. Well, I could go on for a long time but I won't, just let me say happy birthday and God willing many more.
