The Spring Valley Lady Vikings for the second week in a row, traveled to Chester Golf club to play in the Upper State Championship tournament. There were 16 teams and 4 individual players participating in the tournament in hopes of being one of 8 teams and lowest 4 individuals to advance to the State Championship tournament next week. At the end of the day, the Lady Vikings tied for the last qualifying spot with JL Mann. Both teams finished the round with team scores of 368. This put the team into a playoff with JL Mann. Four players were sent back out to play hole #1 to break the tie. When it was all said and done, JL Mann edged the Lady Vikings out by 1 stroke to take the last spot.
