The following changes to regulations will come into effect on 12 November:
- Wallis Professorship of Mathematics (to include research in duties)
- Professorship of Computing (to include research in duties and change the name to the Christopher Strachey Professor of Computing)
- Sherardian Professorship of Botany (to include research in duties)
- BT Professor of Major Programme Management (to include research in duties)
- White’s Professor of Moral Philosophy (to formalise the trust created by the receipt of the gifts from Thomas White and the Sekyra Foundation)
- Robert Turner Professor of Diabetic Medicine (to formalise the trust created by the receipt of the gift from Les Laboratoires Servier)
- Radhakrishnan Memorial Bequest (to update the board of management, as well as the wording and content of the regulations)
- Establishment of The Bern and Ronny Schwartz Curator of Photography (to formalise the trust created by the receipt of the gift from the Bern Schwartz Family Foundation)
- Establishment of the Berrow Foundation Lord Florey Associate Professor Tutorial Fellow in Biochemistry Fund (to formalise the trust created by the receipt of the gift from the Edward Penley Abraham Research Fund)

On 19 October, the Race Equality Task Force launched a consultation for staff and students about proposals to improve race equality at Oxford. The Task Force is seeking feedback on these proposals, to help shape a University-wide strategy.
