Roaring Robotics, Team 2704 and the 2016 Flapjack Challenge

The Flapjack Challenge is an off-season robotics competition hosted by Winnovation, Team 1625. The competition involves designing, building, programming and driving a relatively small robot (18" x 18" x 12" high with a weight limit of 25 lbs.) for the December 3, 2016 match at Winnebago High School, Illinois.
The story that follows is that of Roaring Robotics, Team 2704, getting ready for the competition.

First, it starts with ideas.

Ideas become models.

Models are discussed.

Consensus is achieved.

Models morph into designs.

Thoughts are shared.

Assembly is planned.

Parts are measured.

Pieces are cut.

Parts are drilled.

Code is written.

A robot begins to take form.

The robot comes together.

Testing takes place.

Refinements are made.

We have lift off!

The robot is ready.
