Avenue Ninety is a small startup business located on the south coast, we focus on creating bespoke, handcrafted products perfect for the home and office. In the last few weeks we've completed and launched an online store that we are really proud of, giving us the opportunity to sell our products to the public.

The current market for home trimmings and stationary supplies is flooded with identical, mass produced goods meaning consumers find it difficult to personalize their home or office without spending a fortune.
Avenue Ninety provides a range of unique, hand designed products, suitable for any home or customer. We also offer a made to order service giving free reign to the client and the ability to be entirely tailored to visualize customers specific ideas.

Our team comprises the key skills in order to make this business function. We both have creative backgrounds and are passionate about design and the creative industry. We've worked together on various projects in the past and are hugely motivated individuals.
Marketing and sales- Bryony
There is a rapidly growing market for personalized products and custom made orders. We found that over 50% of consumers would be more likely to buy from a business if it was tailoring products to their individual needs. Our target customers include, homeowners, stationary lovers and creative people. Due to our diverse range of products, we hope to reach a broad clientele of various ages.
We plan to reach these customers via social media, ads on YouTube videos or other websites and improve our SEO ranking. Google ad words is also a method of advertising that we have looked into in more detail. You pay a minimum of between 10 and 30 pounds a day for priority and improved rankings on Google. This is relatively costly so is something we will look to do in the future.
Projections and milestones Bryony
In the last couple of weeks of our website launch, we have received a number of orders and been booked for a wedding event to design place settings and decorations. We aspire to grow and aim to do so by word of mouth and social media to accumulate customers and increase sales.
Competition includes other big stationary and lifestyle retailers like WHSmith, Urban Outfitters, John Lewis etc. we differ from these retailers as our products can be tailored completely by the client, meaning no one else will have the same design.
We also have some competition from other providers of personalized goods. However, the average price of a print similar to what we offer is between 10 and 20 pounds whereas we charge under five pounds for all paper and print types. While still making a reasonable profit. Also our website is easy to navigate and user friendly. We plan to keep our customers engaged by updating them with emails of new products and posting on social media like Instagram.
We have personally invested into our business and funded start up costs in order to generate a decent amount of stock and prototypes. Once we've sold some products and made profits we wish to reinvest some of the money into new stock and increasing our product range, along with saving some for future investment.
