Boscastle flood by charlie cruise

16th august 2004 a massive flood hit Boscastle it was the worst flood to ever hit britain. the water raised 8 inches in the river by the amount of rain. it was the summer so the ground was really dry son when rain came the water would just travel to the river and the small town was in between the a valley so all the water from the valley would go down into the river. 20 million insurance pay out. flood defences set up 4.8 millon
