WHAT IS SYNERGY2K?
Synergy2K is a companion website to be used with myLeague player lock in NBA 2K18. It is the sucessor of YourPlayer v2. You put the stats you get in a game and it gives you things like SP you can use to upgrade your player.
Updating your player is manual, just go to Roster -> Edit Player and set the new attributes.

Gone are the unskippable cutscenes and unrealistic story line being forced down your throat. Instead, you take a player down the journey you choose, you weave your own narrative. If you want to be a top recruit who has spent his whole life hearing whispers of LeBron comparisons, goes number 1 overall, and spends his whole career fighting tirelessly to escape his shadow; you can do that. If you want to be an unheralded star from a small school in Nevada, who has spent his whole life being ignored by the big guys, never hears his name on draft night, and spends his whole career proving them wrong... you can do that. There are no limits. Spend your career as a 77 overall role player or a 99 overall superstar who can do anything.

PLAY GAMES, LEVEL UP, EARN BADGES
Synergy2K works in the same way most career modes do; the better you play in games, the more skill points you earn to improve your character. Better performances lead to bigger contracts and endorsements. Use skill points (directly based off performance) to upgrade attributes and improve badges. And yes, you upgrade individual attributes (skills). Use money (from contracts and endorsements) to buy shoes and animations for your character. The best part: no micro transactions and no spending VC (in fact you will earn VC just by playing). We would also like to introduce you to our smart badge system. Earning badges and leveling them up require you to meet specific related goals. This creates a more systematic approach that simply makes sense.
THE ROAD TO G.O.A.T. AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Road to the G.O.A.T. is your chance to stack up against greatness. Team Synergy developed a database that ranks players whilst accounting for accolades, awards, career stats, rings, etc. and ranked the top players of all time based on our 'career score' formula. In Synergy2K, your player joins the race. Every point you score, every board you grab, every win you get, and every all star nomination mean something as you climb the all time leader boards to chase Kareem, Kobe, LeBron, Wilt, Duncan, Magic, Bird.... and of course His Airness. Do you have what it takes to make the top 100? Can you rise up and surpass them all to become the G.O.A.T.? Or will you fade off forgotten like so many stars of yester-year. Track it all with our career score indicator! While on your journey, we also have achievements to be earned. Replicate some of NBA history's finest achievements and unlock them all. Can you score 63 in a playoff game? Can you win finals MVP as a rookie? Can you record a 5x5? There are dozens of achievements to unlock and more coming.
sHOE COLLECTING
And we got something special for the MyTEAM fans and sneakerheads. We're implementing shoe collections! Shoes give your player a permanent boost when equipped. Collect shoes to complete a set and earn a high tier shoe like the Air Jordan III which will give you a substantial boost.
Almost everything will be customizable. Don't want to collect shoes? Sure! Turn them off in the settings. Want to grow faster? Adjust the multiplier!
It's also going to be online (no downloads!) and have mobile support.
On top of that, everything will be free. No micro-transactions, no special memberships, no exclusive items, not even ads.
WHEN?
