Mr. Michael Elliott Lorca Building Administrator, Interventionist, Educational Support Specialist

"Next Year is Here"

I am honored to serve our Lorca Community. I have been dedicated to education for over 22 years, and have served Lorca School since it's opening in 2010.

My amazing wife and I have two children. We are proud parents of a 5th grader and 2nd grader. As working parents, we understand the importance of balancing work and enjoying family time.

I have many roles at Lorca. Through each role, I celebrate our school motto through advancing our School by collaborating with Others to become our best Selves. Effective and responsive collaborations with parents, students, and teachers is essential in establishing positive relationships.

I am excited to be part of Lorca's Personalized Learning Team. We are advancing Personalized Learning from individual learner profiles, student led conferencing, and team passion projects that focus on college and career readiness, to providing multiple pathways for students to self lead and celebrate their learning in every classroom.

I am a member of our (MTSS) Multi Tiered Support Service Team and our Diverse Learners Team. As Interventionist, we take a proactive role in developing effective academic and behavioral interventions that enable learners to meet desired goals.

I will have an active role in supporting our Diverse Learners and Teachers in grades 5 through 8.

Parents, I welcome your partnership in developing and motivating all of our children to become global contributors and leaders.

Please reach out to me with any question and concerns at 773 534 0936. You may also email me at mbelliott@cps.edu
