ALTA invited Ms. Alicia Hospedales, Senior Government Relations Executive at Digicel Foundation to our Community Class at the NALIS Library on Wednesday evening. At the visit our Resource Development Manager, Ms. Maisha Thomas presented Ms. Hospedales with a copy of Book 1- Level 2 A Programme. Mrs. Paula Lucie-Smith, Founder/CEO of ALTA expresses thanks to Digicel Foundation for their donation of $US 5000 to print 3000 of these books under their Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities initiative (E.P.I.C.).
The Ashley Charity Auction Event took place on Sunday 20th October 2019. The event highlighted women who represent incredibly deserving charities in Trinidad & Tobago. Proceeds went to proceeds went to Peyton’s Light Foundation, The John E Sabga Foundation, The Diabetes Association, Adult Literacy Tutor’s Association, Conflict Women and Animal Welfare Network. ALTA was proudly represented by media personality Ms. Natacha Jones (centre).
A recent donation by CIBC First Caribbean will assist ALTA sessions at Maraval RC School. Managing Director of CBIC Mr. Anthony Seeraj presents Resource Development Manager, Ms. M'aisha Thomas with a cheque to support our new class venue.
