My inspiration was this cookie jar by Patrick Paglia

Roll a slab of wet clay

Cut two slabs into square shapes

Place the two slabs onto a big board of plaster and let them dry until leather hard

Slip and score the two pieces together while they are leather hard

Cut and slip and score the bottom piece of the jar while it is leather hard

Make lid and slip and score the flange while the clay is leather hard

Make a square top for the lid

Slip and score the square top onto the lid when the clay is leather hard

After my piece gets bisque fired it is ready to be glazed
