My pewter design

Before
After

Www i think my pewter desing went well, my design is now scratch free and i am ready to polish it next lesson i will be polishing it next lesson and making sure it is all finished. When i made my pewter design i i used 2d design to create it and i used pewter metal to cast my design. To cast my design i used a laser cutter to cut out the cat shape in a wooden frame. Then i used 2 peices of wood to sandwitch the laser cut and then i poured the pewter metal to pour into the cast. I waited about 10 minutes for it ti cool and then i cut off the exess pewter metal with a saw. Then i used different gradients of sandpaper to get rid of the scratches and then next lesson i will polish it.

Ebi my pewter design still has very small and few scratches but it also still needs to be polished. I also need to drill a hole in the top so it can be used as a piece of jewellery. It has taken me longer than anticipated to try and get all the scratches out and so i am slightly behind. My design still needs a bit of work along the edges but over all i think i did my jewellery to the best of my ability and i tried my best to attempt making a good piece of jewellery.

Before i sandpapered it
